Where is the DBMaker configuration file located?

On UNIX platforms,

DBMaker may search three places, in the order listed below, for the dmconfig.ini configuration file:

The working directory.
The directory specified by the environment variable DBMAKER.
The subdirectory in the home directory for user dbmaker (~dbmaker/data).

On Microsoft Windows systems, including Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT,

DBMaker will only search for the dmconfig.ini file in the directory under which you installed your Windows system. In a typical Windows installation, this will be the WINDOWS directory.
