DBMaker Version 3.76

08/16/2002

DBMaker 3.76 provides some enhancements and resolves some issues that had not been addressed in previous releases.

  • Fixes the start up problem that a database with multiple journal files sometimes had after a hardware crash.
  • Fixes the problem where an IN predicate returned an incorrect result after a scan on an index with non-unique key values.
  • Provides safe transactions for non-synchronized RAW devices in Linux.
  • Solves the problem of some applications that import data with MS-Query, such as MS Word and Access, which may have returned an exception error after choosing a column.
  • Supports JBuilder to bind a table with a DBMaker JDBC data set.
  • Solves the problem of running an aggregate function with a large amount of groups which caused a system internal error.
  • Fixes a rare bug where a query returned the wrong result if it contained a join using a complex index with more than two columns, and the join columns were listed in a specified order.
